Come view a typical Civil War camp and discuss soldier life with those in camp with the Ste. Genevieve St. James Camp #326 Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War. Civil War related materials will be on display as well as a list of Ste. Genevieve County citizens, both Union and Confederate, who served during the war. Children will be invited to learn marching and drilling. From 11 am - 11:45 am, a reenactment of Federal troops taking the money out of the bank of Ste. Genevieve will take place on the corner of Merchant and Main in front of the Show Me Shop. What caused this outrageous act? Come find out. This event is family friendly, handicap accessible and is free to the public.
