Walking in a Winter Waterloo

  • Downtown Waterloo Waterloo, IL (map)

Please join the community of Waterloo in the historic downtown area for its Walking in a Winter Waterloo Weekend! This tradition takes place every year on weekend after Thanksgiving. Visit the participating merchants for a chance to win great prizes. Visit with Santa and enjoy a free carriage ride from Noon to 4 pm each day. Be sure to grab a great viewing spot for the annual GLOW holiday lighted parade, taking place on Saturday evening at 5:30 pm followed with a post-parade chili supper at the SPPCS grade school. On Sunday, vote on your favorite decorated lamppost, located around the courthouse square! Enjoy a free concert, compliments of the Waterloo Municipal Band on Sunday at 1 pm, and enjoy kettle corn on the courthouse square. There’s so much fun to found at this event!
