Twinkling lights and holiday songs light up Cape Girardeau as more than 100 entries make up this parade that has become a Cape Girardeau community tradition. From local businesses and churches and charitable organizations to classic cars, marching bands, and even equestrians, the parade will offer something for everyone. The parade will begin at the intersection of Broadway Street and West End Boulevard (Capaha Park entrance), continue East down Broadway Street toward the river, will then turn right onto Main Street, and will end at 43 S. Main (Hutson’s Big Sandy Furniture parking lot). Santa Claus will be the last entry in the parade, arriving in a horse-drawn sleigh.
