Village Creek State Park will host a fishing derby for kids ages 15 and under with the help of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. A small pond with easy access will be stocked with plenty of catfish for the kids to catch. There will be prizes awarded for biggest fish and most fish caught, as well as door prizes. If your child doesn't have a rod and reel there are a limited number to borrow.
