Join the staff of Fort Pillow State Park as they celebrate National trails Day with a 5 mile hike along some of the earthworks built by confederate soldiers in 1861. While on route the Fort’s role in the Civil War will be discussed, flora and fauna will be pointed out, and any litter or debris that may be encountered along the trail will be picked up. Be sure to bring water, bug spray, hiking stick if needed, and hiking appropriate attire.
