The toughest kids race here. Since 2005, the Optimist Club of Quincy has made the Optimist Derby Championships one of the premiere youth events in the Tri-States by promoting youth racing with family values to prepare children for a brighter future. The stock and super stock races are held on Saturday and the Super Kids races are held on Friday. Super Kids pairs children with special needs with veteran drivers to race in specially designed cars.
