Midsummer Arts Faire is a community celebration of the arts (visual, musical, and culinary) in Quincy, Illinois. Come experience a juried art show area where over 50 artists will exhibit and sell their work. The toughest kids race here. Since 2005, the Optimist Club of Quincy has made the Optimist Derby Championships one of the premiere youth events in the Tri-States. The stock and super stock races are held on Saturday and the Super Kids races are held on Friday. Super Kids pairs children with special needs with veteran drivers to race in specially designed cars.

The Fishing For Freedom - Quincy event is a way for us to honor our Veterans to show them our thanks and appreciation. This event is designed to provide our veterans as well as active duty troops with a weekend of events that range from fish frys and trapshooting, a Heroes Banquet, and Catfishing or Bass fishing on the mighty Mississippi River.
