The Bradbury Art Museum was established in 2001 by a generous endowment in honor of Charlotte (Chucki) Bradbury, an alumnae of Arkansas State University who later became a member of the ASU Board of Trustees. The Bradbury Art Museum features changing exhibitions of contemporary art in all mediums. Regionally, nationally and internationally recognized artists are represented to inform viewers of cultural developments across the US and around the world. The Bradbury Art Museum is also the site of the Delta National Small Prints Exhibition. The exhibition, founded in 1996 by ASU professor of art Evan Lindquist, the Delta National Small Prints Exhibition has received great acclaim as it has grown to be one of the country’s foremost annual competitions for prints. Each year a nationally known expert in the field of printmaking is invited to select the works of art for this exhibition. At the end of each spring and fall semester the gallery also features artwork by graduating seniors from the ASU Department of Art.

CURRENT EXHIBIT

Panoply: 26 Painted Lives
Through April 3, 2024

“Panoply: 26 Painted Lives" brings together two bodies of work from portrait artist Ray Allen Parker. The LIT series forms a sort of visual biography of the artist, who holds two degrees in English literature from the University of Arkansas. These portraits of literary figures trace Parker's journey through the novels and poetry that shaped his thoughts and feelings about major themes explored in literature.
