The Rector Community Museum project is a non-profit organization committed to expanding the public's sense of community through an understanding of Rector's history and its place in American society. To achieve this purpose, the museum collects and preserves artifacts and information that document the area's heritage, and produces interpretive exhibits and educational programs. The Museum is dedicated to the belief that visitors can learn from the past to understand better the present and future.

Visiting the Rector Community Museum
Wednesday: 10 am - 3 pm
Friday: 10 am - Noon
The above hours are when volunteer guides staff the museum. The museum may be accessed any time the library is open by asking a librarian.
Library hours are:
Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
Wednesday: 8:30 am - 5 pm
Friday: 8:30 am - 4 pm
Saturday: 9 am - 1 pm
There is no charge to visit the Rector Community Museum.
