Shakespeare Festival St. Louis provides a great way to experience Shakespeare in the city. Each summer, the festival organized by St. Louis Shakespeare Festival presents free performances of a popular Shakespeare play in Shakespeare Glen near Art Hill in Forest Park.

Much Ado About Nothing
June 1 - June 26, 2022

2022’s production is Much Ado About Nothing, one of Shakespeare’s most popular and enduring comedies. The central characters, Beatrice and Benedick, are thorny, intelligent, witty and hopelessly bad at love.  A battle royale ensues in a hilarious attempt to resist their overpowering mutual attraction that makes Much Ado such a timeless story of romance, suspicion and restoration.

Seating for Shakespeare in the Park is free and open to all on a first come first serve basis.
Pre-reserved seating areas is available for a fee.
